Promising prospects for the Nürburgring. Super Trofeo heads to the popular track for the Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra team

A race that the Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra team is looking forward to with great anticipation. This is the fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series, which kicks off this weekend at the legendary Nürburgring. The four drivers of Jiří Mičánek's team have already tested in Germany on Monday.

"We drove around 200 kilometers with each car, everything went according to plan, and even though it was just a test, we were fast. The cars are working, the drivers are in a positive mood," sums up the result of the tests and the atmosphere before the fourth round of the prestigious series, team manager Jiří Mičánek Jr.

Both crews will want to build on their good results from Le Mans at the Nürburgring. The Bronislav Formánek - Štefan Rosina crew brought home fifth place and still leads the Pro-AM category standings, while Jáchym Galáš and Matěj Pavlíček finished in the elite ten for the first time in the PRO class.

While Le Mans was a big unknown for the team, Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra goes to the Nürburgring with memories of the successful results from previous years. It was here that Bronislav Formánek - still with Karol Basz last year - came to claim his first podium finish of the season. "It's a race I've been looking forward to all season. I love this track, we have trained on it, so we will definitely want to beat the strongest rivals, including those from the PRO category," Bronislav Formánek predicted before the weekend.

Štefan Rosina is also looking forward to the fourth round of Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. "We're going to the Nürburgring as first in the standings and I'll do everything I can to keep it up," says Rosina.

The junior duo of Jáchym Galáš and Matěj Pavlíček focused primarily on perfecting the "perfect" lap in testing. Both drivers know that success in the fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series will be based primarily on a successful qualifying session. "We were here testing back in the spring, so I'll want to make the most of knowing the circuit. There will be a lot of cars on the track again, so it will be very important to find some space between them and get one really fast lap. If we can do that, I believe we can be somewhere around the top ten in qualifying," says Jáchym Galáš.

Matěj Pavlíček has been trying to improve his driving technique step by step in the last few weeks and get closer to the level of his teammate. "I know that there are things I can improve in my driving style, so my coach Pepa Záruba and I have focused on the individual sub-steps that I am taking and trying to improve. After the tests, I can say that I feel very comfortable in the car now and I think I am well prepared," said Pavlíček.

Jiří Mičánek also confirms the drivers' ambitions. "This is a race we are all looking forward to, the drivers are healthy and rightly confident. All four have set very good times in testing and we must hope that we will have a standard weekend with no extraordinary events - be it accidents, safety car exits or the weather - interfering," says the team manager. He added that the primary goal is to extend the series of races where Formánek and Rosina are leading the championship. "Ideally, we will want to extend our narrow lead in the series," outlined Jiří Mičánek's ambitions for the weekend at the Nürburgring.
